- My system hangs intermittantly, and sounds like the problem you're having.
- Are you running at 28.8? If so, check to see if your modem has an error light
- (could be labled "tst") and if it flashes, it may be due to the modems catching
- errors and re-negotiating line speed, or something like that. My actual connect
- speed is 26K. I was told, that in my case, I need to set my modem to go no
- higher than 24K for my line, and that should fix the problem (less hangs). I'll
- be trying it soon. A friend with a PC who PPPs into the Sun at work, like I do,
- experiences the same problem, and fixed it with the speed change I mention above.
